Octavian/ Augustus Caesar need some help?

Octavian became Caesar Augustus. He was in command of the Roman army. He was Julius Caesar's nephew and became Caesar after Julius was inated. He was treacherous and very ambitious. This happened before Jesus Christ was born. It was Caesar Augustus who decreed the Jews should return to their place of birth to pay a tax. Hope this helps.
